The BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has affected not only the creatures that live in the sea, but also those whose livelihood is controlled by the sea – like a fisherman, and tourist areas along the beach. BP has tried various ways to try to stop the flow of oil thrown out of the broken pipe, but now it’s time to try a new technology.

Kevin Costner, star of Hollywood went to Congress to talk about the technology that has been injected in 20 million U.S. dollars, saying it could be used to help separate oil from water.Costner has been working on this new system because the oil spill of the Exxon Valdez 1989, and now thinks that CINC is the answer.

The star said that this is a very effective tool when cleaning up oil spills like this. The tool is smaller so it can be used in a small boat, but it is hard to support what the force of the sea can throw at it.
AFP reports that BP has tested out this new technology are almost ready to order, what to do Costner very happy. It is certainly nice to see a Hollywood star preparing for out of their way to help our planet – I just want more of them were so.
