The Denon AH-D5000, Grado Labs GS-1000, Edition 9 and ultrasound are all above the ear "circumaural" headphones, mainly for domestic use, but do not let me plug in my iPod.
With its lightweight magnesium frame, mahogany ear cups real and so soft leather cushions, the Denon AH-D5000 is a true charm. It is the most comfortable headsets I’ve used, and its low mass microfiber diaphragms deliver lightning-fast, detailed sound. Audiophile mavens who crave visceral mojo go ga-ga over the AH-D5000. This headset is very low. It is also performed with music and home theater.
For home theater I have seen in Test Flight of the Phoenix DVD, and the plane crash scene fully exploited headphones dynamic prowess. The AH-D5000 detailed and airy treble kept my attention glued to the screen action. Read more…

The NPD Group says iTunes remains the first U.S. retailer music, but Amazon is showing strength, partly due to its DRM-free MP3 store.
Market research firm NPD Group has published new numbers for the retail sale of music during the first half of 2008, and believes that the Apple iTunes Music Store still leads the pack among music retailers, based on purchases of CDs and count every 12 individual tracks sold online as equivalent to an album. Brick-and-mortar retailers Wal-Mart and Best Buy came in second and third, respectively, with the Amazon and Target taking the fourth and fifth positions.

Ultimate Ears has been a household name for musicians and other audio professionals for a decade, but in recent years, the company has Churned out a series of handsets for consumers several lines that go to affordability. The headphones that have won perhaps the brightest praise are Triple.fi 10s, a pair of $ 400 that has three armor balanced in each ear piece. As expected, this leads to exceptional audio response, unfortunately, also means that the ear pieces are enormous and will not fit all users comfortably.

Creative Labs has a history of making big MP3 players, and Zen V and ZEN V Plus - available in July and August, respectively - are no exception. These cute and pocketable flash devices are packed with features and offer impressive performance, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking for a lower-capacity, solid-state MP3 player. Of course, since the Creative Zen V Plus adds two extra convenient for the package (an FM radio and video player), yet costs only about $ 25 more than the Zen V, we think that the Plus is the way to go - more bang for your Buck. You can pick up the 2 GB for $ 79.99, $ 109.99 for 4GB, 8GB for $ 169.99, or 16 GB for $ 249.99. Comparatively, the Zen V lists at $ 59.99 for 1GB, $ 74.99 for 2GB, and $ 99.99 for the 4GB (Creative discontinued other capacities for this model). In any case, is a better treatment than the iPod Nano.
