Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 earphones Review

Ultimate Ears has been a household name for musicians and other audio professionals for a decade, but in recent years, the company has Churned out a series of handsets for consumers several lines that go to affordability. Headphones at its Metro.fi, Super.fi and Triple.fi lines have acquired a reasonable following with key audiences, who have a lot of nice things to say about the company’s products (see: Amazon.com). The headphones that have won perhaps the brightest praise are Triple.fi 10s, a pair of $ 400 that has three armor balanced in each ear piece. As expected, this leads to exceptional audio response, unfortunately, also means that the ear pieces are enormous and will not fit all users comfortably.
The Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 ear headphones are bigger pieces that we have ever seen on a EarBud. Each one measures one inch long and about one half inch wide, making them almost twice as large as those found in Shure SE530 (another driver triple play). The holes are also significantly larger than those of the series of Shure. As a result, achieving a secure and comfortable fit with the Triple.fi 10 can be a challenge – or even impossible – for some users, despite the fact that Ultimate Ears includes a wide range of accessories ear. There are four sets of silicone sleeves of different sizes, a game of double flange suggestions, and a couple of pieces of foam. Even with the foam suggestions, we could not get the headphones to seal with the ear and stay that way. On the positive side, moldable plastic surrounding the cable closest to the headphones allowed us to safely cable loop on the ear headphones that remained in place despite fit. Everything that is said, the main headphones have both reviewers of below average ears; fellow with big ears not suffer the same problem.
Despite its large size, 10 Triple.fi headphones offer a touch of style. Each EarBud is in a shimmery blue house (called the Ultimate Ears "Gun Metal Blue"). The Y-cable is all black and seems reasonably durable. It measures 46 inches and has a slider at the crossroads And to help prevent tangling. Ultimate Ears also includes a pretty hard metal case to keep the cables knot free during storage and protection of the ear pieces. Rounding out the accessories are an airplane adapter, a 24-inch cable extender, a quarter-inch adapter plug, and a cleaning tool.
Assuming you can get a good fit, Triple.fi 10 headphones will reward you with some stellar sound quality. This is thanks to the multitude of Teeny, tiny Ultimate Ears technology has crammed into each handset. There are double balanced armor for the lower and middle range of frequencies and one armored precision balanced for high frequencies. An integrated passive crossover each connects to the various speakers devoted to each frequency. In layman’s terms, this means you tight, thumping bass; rich, covering means; excellent detail and sparkling high. Although the audio response is not biased towards one gender – we heard rap, folk, pop, hard rock and classical, downtempo, and the house – electronic music brought us to heaven. Danny Tenaglia’s remix of Depeche Mode’s "I Feel Loved" sounds out of this world when played through the Triple.fi 10. If they can fit in your ears, these ’phones are definitely worth the investment.
